Breakouts was my respite on my toughest days and the highlight of my week on every other. Emotional cross-training. I love it here.

Breakouts should be something everyone is required to take. Regardless of where you are in your journey, this course enables you to take back ownership of your life.

When I first joined Breakouts, I was riding every wave. Coasting actually. Now, a few months later, I am free from letting my work and the “systems” rule me. I feel empowered to make it different. I can be free; I can be authentic without it being weak. And throw the rulebook out the window. Breakouts, for me, reminded me of why I started this business.

Breakouts gave me a safe and love-bound platform to constructively analyse myself and break down who I think I am and where I want to go. Chewing the fat with the GMTeezahs on a Wednesday night has lit up my life for the past 8 weeks. Who’d have thought getting naked on a webcam with a bunch of blokes would be the highlight of my summer as a 25-year-old?

Breakouts expanded my boundaries of comfort that empowered me to express my vulnerabilities, share my learnings with others, and it concluded with a new group of lifelong connections I’ll forever cherish.

After a challenging year where I felt like my identity has been stripped away, Breakouts provided me with community, intellectual stimulation and direction. All the things I’ve been yearning for, Breakouts was able to provide me with. It helped me regain my confidence and momentum I’d lost during the pandemic while meeting new people who helped me see things from a different perspective. It took me out of my comfort zone and challenged me daily. I had an amazing time. I’ve met some amazing people, and I’m extremely proud of what I achieved during the 10 weeks. Well worth it.

The start of my Breakout journey was a reluctant one. I was recommended to Cam and Cornelius by a friend to inject some fuel into my life and career. However, I worried that it wasn’t the right time as I was moving house and planning on quitting my job. How wrong I was.

Breakouts gave me the confidence to chase my goals without restraint. The curriculum gave me perspective on what I wanted to achieve in my life, and after some deep inward reflection with Cam and Cornelius, I was fully focused on what I needed to set out to do.

The media industry I work in is cut-throat and constantly makes you doubt your self-worth. Breakouts allowed me to realise that I don’t need to fear the industry and that I had more to offer than I ever thought I did. 

Cam and Cornelius could never do enough while I was in Breakouts, helping every step of the way, even when life got busy. The one-on-one time they give you and the exercises they put you through give your life a full MoT, enabling you to be in top mental shape to achieve your goals.

I would thoroughly recommend joining them whenever you get the opportunity. They have big dreams and plans, and you’d be a fool not to jump on board while you still can.

I came into Breakouts like a cartoon character who’d lost their glasses. I had a general idea of where I wanted to go, but I was stumbling through a hazy vision.

Cam and Cornelius, through their network of amazing professionals and tried-and-tested exercises, gave me clarity. They helped me to work out exactly what I wanted and formulate a path to get there.

Sometimes the introspection was personally challenging, but through their infectious, relentless energy, I come out of the experience far richer for the experience.

Breakouts helped me gain the self-confidence to carve my own career path as an abstract painter.

Before Breakouts, I drifted through life choices that didn’t really align with what I truly wanted to do. I gained tools and knowledge through Breakouts that helped me pursue my goals in a way that was actually aligned with my life’s intentions. Breakouts pushed me out of my comfort zone and made me realize it’s up to me to make this happen, and I am the only one who can get in the way.

It’s clear from the start that the Breakouts team genuinely care about our personal stories. They work side by side with every student to make sure we are all getting the most out of the curriculum and the community. The class is highly individualized and at the same time focused on a common goal – that we each become our version of our best selves. I began Breakouts scared to the leap to become a full-time artist. And by the end, I had not only made the leap but had my entire business up and running.
